FILE 13 E-WASTE SOLUTIONS, LLC

We are a tight knit, Wisconsin family owned and operated business with a secure video monitored facility.
We ship exclusively to e-Steward and/or R2 certified US recyclers.

All data is destroyed by one or more of the following:

  Multi Pass Overwriting

Magnetic Degaussing

Physical Destruction

Upon request, a standard recycling certificate with a data destruction statement

and the weight of received material will be provided at no extra charge.

Additional documentation rates are as follows:

Recycling Count Sheets: $2 per line

  • A Recycling Count Sheet will be provided by request when a client needs a tally of the quantity of each kind of item that was submitted for recycling, such as PC, laptop, monitor, mouse, network switch, circuit board, hard drive, etc.
  • Due to their tendency to entangle themselves, all cables and wires in a load will be stated on a single line as a weight, rather than a quantity. Each count line will be billed at $2 regardless of the actual number of each type of item, so whether there are 2 or 200 PCs, that line on the count sheet would be billed at $2.  Count sheets must include all items in a load.

Itemized Certificate of Recycling: $5 per item

  • An Itemized Certificate of Recycling will be provided by request when a client needs an itemized list detailing the make, model and serial number of each individual item submitted for recycling.  Itemized certificates may be requested for specific types of items in a load, such as hard drives, laptops, servers, or PCs.
  • In the case of hard drives, for the protection of the client and File 13, a chain of custody must be established.
  • In order to accomplish this, hard drives must be pulled from laptops, servers, PCs, etc and the make, model and serial number of each drive submitted must be documented by the client prior to acceptance by File 13.
  • Hard drives submitted for proof of destruction should be turned over in a sealed box marked “Data Destruction” with the required documentation enclosed.
  • File 13 will verify whether all drives are present and all serial numbers match.
  • If the quantity or serial numbers do not match, File 13 will inform the client and record the make, model and serial numbers of what was actually received. Please refer to the Drop Off Rates page on our website for drop off pricing, and the Pickup Rates page for pickup pricing.

Video Proof of Data Destruction: $20 per hard drive

  • Proof of data destruction will be provided by request when the client needs an itemized list detailing the make, model and serial number of each hard drive submitted for recycling as well as video of the hard drive being destroyed.
  • For the protection of the client and File 13, a chain of custody must be established.
